Description:
The primary function of the Administrative Service Representative is to assist customers in placing orders for product via the telephone, fax and online ordering systems. This individual will gather detailed information in regards to the customer’s specific needs and input that information into the computer system. This individual will also assist the customer, sales staff and warehouse staff in resolving problems with product and deliveries. Required Experience:
1. Minimum two years’ experience in office or administrative support role.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and customers.
3. Organized, detail oriented, reliable and self-motivated.
4. Strong problem solving abilities.
5. Strong computer skills and 10-key skills. 9000+ kph required.
6. The ability to communicate effectively. Bi-lingual, English / Spanish is a plus, but not mandatory.
7. Must be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. At least 90% of time will be spent on the telephone.
8. Attention to detail is a must.
9. Weekend work will be required.
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.

Utilizing our state of the art order fulfillment system and powered industrial equipment in our climate-controlled environment, the successful order selector will be rewarded for their productivity and accuracy. The rewards include new pay scales based on performance, full benefit offerings and weekly paychecks. This is full-time position with unscheduled, mandatory overtime.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•  Must have a Class A or B CDL license or chauffer’s license.
• Must be proficient in handling 53’ Tractor/Trailer combo or 26’ straight truck
• Be willing and able to travel into all areas of the Midwest that we service
• Must have a safe driving record
• Work a variety of days, including weekends
• Must be able to climb in and out of tractor / trailer safely using steps or ramp
• Unload and deliver produce items using two-wheel dolly.
• Maneuver two-wheel dolly through varying weather conditions, alleys, steps or other constraints.
• Lift up to 75 lbs of merchandise at a time.
• Deliver product in a timely manner according to route design
• Use electronic equipment to verify route progress
• Complete paperwork in an accurate manner
• Compliance with DOT requirements including inspections, Record of Duty Status and safe driving habits.

This position will have the responsibility of filling orders accurately while verifying quality using a Pick to Voice system. The successful candidate should have experience operating powered industrial equipment. Knowledge of the produce industry is helpful.

Description: Liberty Fruit Company Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Quality Assurance Manager for our facility located in Kansas City, KS. This position has responsibility to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding food quality and food safety in a  SQF facility. This includes accountability for monitoring and ensuring a high standard of food processing sanitation at the pre-operation and operational stages of production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Responsible for the daily training, direction, development and reporting of Quality Assurance technicians and the sanitation workforce.
  • Interacts effectively with other departments and personnel.
  • Monitors employee training initiatives to achieve compliance in these areas.
  • Manages and reports results of all required quality assurance testing.
  • Responsible for the Quality Assurance program, including finished product specification compliance, HACCP, GMP’s, and lot traceability.
  • Maintains and performs procedures and documentation for product recall and tracking.
  • Performs and monitors plant inspections for GMP requirements.
  • Coordinates and cooperates with on-site third party audits performed by regulatory agencies and customers such as SQF, USDA, FDA, and a variety of customers.
  • Analysis of report results from third party audits and develops procedures to develop compliance for future inspections.
  • Facilitates company operations to maintain SQF certification.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in food science, chemistry or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry knowledge in HACCP and GMP’s
  • Minimum of 3 years as Quality Assurance Supervisor or related role in a produce processing facility.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation audit experience required.
  • HACCP certification preferred.
  • GFSI Certified Practitioner preferred.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
